AdSense Alternatives - 7 Alternative Internet Advertising Sites Competing with Google AdWords

AdSense Alternatives - 7 Alternative Internet Advertising Sites Competing with Google AdWords

Adsense Alternatives

Many people have started using Google's AdSense program, but there are some who find it a bit too uncertain or simply not suiting their own requirements from an ad program.

But thankfully for such people, there are many alternatives to AdSense which attempt to alleviate some of its shortcomings. Here is a list of the most noteworthy ones from the lot with a description concerning each one.

Kontera (http://kontera.com)

As you are reading this, you probably see a bunch of random links scattered throughout the page - these are done through Kontera.  Kontera specializes in In-Text ads.  It works by indexing your page looking for keywords and phrases that are not currently links and converts them into advertising links. When a user places their mouse over the link a box opens up showing the ad. If they click on the link you get paid. It is very simple and works very effectively.

InfoLinks ( http://infolinks.com)

Infolinks is another company that specializes in In-Text Advertizing. The nice part is that you can use Infolinks to compliment an existing advertising campaign on your website - you can show banner ads with AdBrite or Bidvertiser and show text links with Infolinks. Or you can even show text links with both AdBrite and Infolinks together on the same page to maximize your revenue.

Infolinks claims to be leading the industry with the most relevant in-text advertising links and the highest revenue share - guaranteed. I am not sure how they 'guarantee' this but having used them for several months I can attest that their payouts are indeed good compared to other In-Text advertizing options.

Some of the Infolinks.com features are that it's Quick and Easy to setup with no modifying your website or charges to sign up.  Also, ads are placed right within your text as to not distract from your website content.

Bid4Keywords (http://bid4keywords.com)

Bid4Keywords is definitely one of my favorites for one reason - GREAT customer service.  Whether you are advanced or a novice, their customer service team based out of Los Angeles will help you along the way.  The format is similar to Adsense with a lot less bells and whistles, and typically the PPC (pay per click) is generally less.

Clicksor (http://www.Clicksor.com)

Clicksor offers high paying pop-up ads and full page ads. Very prompt with their payment and they make payment about every 2 weeks (about 15) days via Paypal. However, they do have some joining restrictions with a 5,000 page views per day or 150000 page views per month requirement

Kanoodle  (https://www.kanoodle.com/about/advertise.html)

Kanoodle's offering allows publishers to get ads related to topics or segments, and not the traditional keyword oriented ads. The site also groups publisher sites with advertisers by hand to ensure high-revenue generating ads. And speaking of revenue, the amount of money you receive is a clear 50% share of the amount of money Kanoodle recieves for an advertiser.

AdBrite (http://Adbrite.com)

AdBrite, is currently one of the best alternatives there is to Google's AdSense. While they do not offer the same large selection of ad formats that Google Adsense provides you they do offer the most commonly used ones.  They have more relaxed terms and conditions than Adsense and are much more accepting of smaller publishers including bloggers.

While AdBrite can provide publishers with more revenue and better ads than traditional ad networks such as Google AdSense, they work fine along-side them as a way for you to generate additional ad revenue by selling ads directly to your visitors - something the other ad systems don't do.  AdBrite also lets you select your own minimum bid prices and give you the option of showing an alternative ad service such as Clicksor for example, when bid prices fall below your minimum.

Note, however, that itt can take a day or so from when you signup with AdBrite.com and put their code on your website to actually start seeing your ads showing up. As I mentioned earlier, AdBrite also accepts Blogs as sites so if you are having difficulties with other programs turning you down because of their terms are restricting your ads, AdBrite might be an alternative.

Clicksor (http://www.clicksor.com)

Clicksor will earn you as much as 60% from the amount of money your website produces. What you get is about the same as AdSense, there are targeted text ads, you can view the revenues from your website in real time. You can receive money via PayPal or through a check every two weeks, provided that you have earned more then $50. If you haven't made that much, your earning roll over to the next period

Internet Marketing Using Articles – How Writing Articles can Build Your Internet Marketing Business

Internet Marketing Using Articles – How Writing Articles can Build Your Internet Marketing Business

By Nate Rio – http://TheMillionaireSocietyGroup.com

Did you know that almost all the people who make money online and work from home are marketing using articles to promote some products or services? Now regardless of whether the products and services they are promoting are their own or they are selling other people products and service as affiliate marketing, they are still using articles to do the promoting and marketing in their home based business.

If you desire to get serious about internet marketing and making money online, or even join the millionaire society, you must learn to make good, high quality articles.

All the great marketers who make money online and work from home are writing articles to influence the readers to buy their products. And search engines like Google and Bing also have changed their algorithms nowadays to search for high quality article content.

So if you are developing some websites to do your home based business, and you are struggling to develop a good position in the search engine results, you do not need to focus specifically on link building. Writing a good quality and SEO friendly article to help your rank of your website in the search engine position will help drive traffic to your website, and eventually help grow and build your internet marketing business.

Google really likes the websites which contain high quality articles in the content.  In the past, you could just beef up your meta tags (keywords placed in your HTML code to help Google search for your page) and your site would be indexed high in search results.  However, as more people figured out the system and took advantage of it, Google then decided to change the rules.

Conversely, a high quality article will automatically drive readers to come and read the article in the content of your website.

The more visitors and readers come to the website, the more Google will increase the ranking of the website because Google will think that your website has interesting articles in it, so a lot of people come to visit it and like to read your website content.

Here are some other quick tips:

·        You can place the article in your own website OR your blog.  Writing good articles on your blog (like this one) allows you to be yourself and speak freely on your topic.  Then you can redirect to the professionally formatted website.  In my case I’ll have you visit TheMillionaireSociety.com for other tips.

·        Second, I recommend that you also submit it to some article directories such as Ezine articles. You may have heard the statement - “Content is the King,” and those who have the most content will generally see the most traffic.

·        Publish your articles on sites like Scribd.com.  Again, the more content you have, you increase your chances for people reading the articles and redirecting back to your website.

Now I already know what you’re thinking – “Nate, what if I am a horrible writer” or “I always get writers block” or “I just don’t have time.” For some people who have a great passion in writing and like to do some writing, perhaps this is not a big problem for them. But what happen for some people who don’t like to write article or perhaps don’t know about how to make a good articles? How can they do marketing using articles it they don’t know how to write articles?

Here are 3 quick answers to that:

1.     Find a topic that you are passionate about and writing articles will come easy.

2.     Make time.  I’m serious – if you are serious about making money, and have the drive to succeed – you’ll make it happen.  Unless you work 80 hours a week (and I know some of you do!), you can find time in your day to do something you’re passionate about AND make money in the process.

3.     Hire someone to write your articles.  There are great sites from Odesk, Elance, and even Fiverr where you can hire people to do the article writing for you.

The bottom line is that if you really care about your home based business, you must find lots of way to improve your make money online and work from home business including how to write original, SEO friendly and high quality article content.

Increase Your Traffic - How to Increase Traffic to your Website Using a Blog

Increase Traffic

How to Increase Traffic to your Website Using a Blog

I'm sure by now you've read or heard about the many different ways increase traffic using blog in your home based business.  Nowadays you may find that there are a lot of ways to increase traffic to your website, especially if you just Google search "Increase Traffic to Your Website".

If your goal is to create a website and drive traffic to it, I really suggest you to learn how increase traffic using a blog.   This article talks about different ways to help you along with the process.

I hope by learning it and practicing the tips that I tell you, you can make a big improvement for your quest to money online and work from home business.

Most people that are in internet marketing would agree that generating traffic to your website is the key to marketing success.

Most online business marketers in the world who work from home and make money online are struggling hard to increase their website traffic everyday.

  • The first thing you need to do is set up a blog, similar to this one!  Now as you can see, I use Blogger as a platform, which is a Google product. Instead of Blogger, you can also use Wordpress to make these blogs.
  • Second - get your own domain name and hosting.  I recommend using Host Gator or Cool Handle.  Doing this can give your blog site some personal flare, such as NateIsSuperAwesome.com, for example!

Wordpress and Blogspot are going to be the most popular, and both have their pros and cons.  Check each out and play around with them for a bit to see which one will be easier for you.

Once you have your blog set up, you can begin to create some blogs that have the same topic/niche with your main website niche or or at least have the niche that related to your main website niche.  For instance, if your website sells snowboards and skis, you might want to start blogging about anything and everything regarding to mountain life and snow.  AND, this is REALLY IMPORTANT. Blog always and often!  The more content you create, the more Google and the search indexes index your topics and that will increase traffic over time!

Also, while blogging, use your keywords in your content.  Note that I keep using the phrase "increase traffic to your website" frequently in this article!  Tricky, aren't I???

  • The next thing you need to do is build links from your new blogs to your main website. This is one of the ways to increase traffic to your website right from your blog.
Usually this way is very effective to increase your main website traffic.  For example, if my sales website or product page was SkiandDoAwesomeTricks.com, and you write a blog about your latest awesome tricks, you would want to put a link back to SkiandDoAwesomeTricks.com.

Note however, you must make sure that the niche of the blogs is the same as the niche of your main website.  You wouldn't want to blog about "Awesome Snowboard Tricks" and then redirect the buyer or customer to your "Home Gardening for the Illiterate" sales page - this is a sure fire way to lose trust and this will not increase traffic to your website in the long run.

This is not the only ways to increase your website traffic. You may find a lot of people are hiring or learning to do SEO (search engine optimization) for increasing traffic. You may find a plethora of new internet experts that will share information or provide some SEO service for you.  Note however, it may get confusing and overwhelming as to which of the various SEO tips will finally give a positive results for your website traffic; not to mention it can get costly to hire someone to build your website to drive traffic.

Honestly, from my experience and purchasing MANY online programs, I found that (here comes the uninhibited Sales Plug!) with The Millionaire Society Group videos, it shows you how to start building traffic organically, without having to spend lots of money on SEO.  Of course if you do have the budget, you can feel free to spend the money on that - as I always say, "make like a squirrel and Go nuts!"

  •  Promote your blog on Twitter and Facebook.
After you start blogging a ton, you will then want to engage your niche audience on Twitter and Facebook.  If you don't have a Facebook AND Twitter profile - stop right now and do it.  Of course you can use the many other Social Networking sites out there, but start with these two.

Follow friends on Twitter in your niche and people will eventually start following you back. Then start putting quality, honest content about your niche and occasionally put in your blog and website link.  But don't over do it! People will get annoyed and un-follow you.  People will then start reading your blog and going to your website, but only if you are genuine, non-boring, and give quality content.  Then over time as your site gets more content, the search engines will index your site for your niche and you will see an increase in website traffic.
So in conclusion:

  1. Start a blog at Wordpress, Blogger, or another site
  2. Write quality content, and often!
  3. Increase traffic to your website by linking your site to your blog, and talk about your blog to everybody on Twitter, Facebook, etc.
  4. Wash, Rinse, Repeat! Over, and over, and over, and over.

Good luck!
